The Laughing Needle

You are probably wondering about this picture, well...this happens to be my favorite needle. 

 Thin, long and a big eye fro easier threading.

 Well, you have no idea how many times I have lost this needle at home, at craft fairs, in parks.

 Yesterday I thought, OK, that's it I won't find it this time.  Its gone.  I have been trying to find one just like it but so far no success. This one came from a thrift store along with other needles.   I think it might be a smocking needle, not really sure.  

So, in the morning at the craft fair I was setting up my stuff and laying out the things that I was going to work on, I sat down and there it was...lying there...laughing at me!  

Honestly , I have no idea how it got there.
